As you may know, certain American Vintage candles scents are made only during certain times of the year. This means that we order early because they do sell out. We received a shipment today, so this is what we currently have in stock:
~ Jingle Bells
~ Ginger & Fig
~ Evergreen Citrus ~ Lemon Parsley ~ Lemon Custard ~ Pomegranate Apple
And, once again, I forgot to take a picture of this cute little kidney-shaped table before I painted it. But, here is the After for you to enjoy. This table was done with Miss Mustard Seed milk paint using the Ironstone color. It’s a real cutie!
When I was a kid I loved playing board games (and Barbie dolls) with my friends. Nope, we didn’t have computers, video games and television sets in every room of the house. These were also the days when my mom MADE me play outside until supper time.
We just got a load of board games here at the shoppe (see pictures below) that I know you all are dying to play … with cocktails, of course. All of the games have all of the pieces and some have never been opened. List is as follows:
We had a great time (as usual) at the annual Fishtown “Meet the Neighbors“. Got to hang out with my friends and fellow small businesses, along with a bunch of people that live and love Fishtown.
Yep, I won another auction raffle – a basket donated by The Pickled Heron which I have never been to, but have been meaning to visit for a while now. My buddies Leo and Nancy from Fishtown Lawyers (this is who I run to with all my legal stuff) and Beth and Andy from Beth Blinebury Design (this is who you need for web/marketing/branding) won stuff, too. Great night and lots of fun (aka heavy drinking) had by all! Great job to Fishtown Neighbors Association for planning and hosting this great event!!
It’s amazing what a little bit of paint can do. Here is a table that I picked up at a yard sale for a few dollars. Super sturdy, but not very pretty. With just a little bit of paint and imagination, look at what you can do to upgrade and make it pretty. I took off the old handle and replaced it with the stylish knob. This only took me a day to complete. Come visit us at Keys to the Attic to see other pieces that we finished and we’ll teach you how to do the same thing!
