Aging Dust – ON SALE!

$9.95 $4.00 ~ 2 oz. Pot

Clear Wax (instructions for use)

CeCe’s wax is a non-petroleum based, natural wax. In addition to being better for you, your family and the environment, it goes on smoothly without any drag or streaking.

Dark and Light Aging Cream (instructions for use)

The Aging Cream is a dark or light espresso brown which creates a more dramatic affect.  This looks amazing on anything and I definitely recommend it for the deeper, darker colors.  The Aging Cream will change your paint color, so it is best to wax your piece in clear first, then blend in any aging wax afterwards.

Waxing Cream (instructions for use)

The Waxing Cream is an alternative to Clear Wax that produces a little more of a shine, while using less product to attain it.  This wax penetrates deeper into the wood, ultimately requiring less buffing than other waxes.

Satin Finish (instructions for use)

Satin Finish is a clear satin durable topcoat which can be used instead of wax in heavier traffic areas.  It is applied over painted surfaces in a thin, even coat using a fine brush, foam brush or foam roller.

Endurance Finish (instructions for use)

Endurance is the finish recommended for cabinetry and table tops.  It is a satin finish for indoor use.  Endurance is non-yellowing.  If you desire an aged appearance, we suggest you use our Clear Glaze tinted under Endurance to achieve the desired effect.

Clear Glaze (instructions for use)

The Clear Glaze is generally used as an enhancing technique, rather than a final finish.  It can be tinted with dry pigments, universal tints, or CeCe Caldwell’s Paints to achieve a desired color.  Or, it can be used clear to give a light sheen to decor that will not be handled regularly (i.e., picture frames).

Aging Dust (instructions for use)

The Aging Dust is a fine micro-powder, made from natural pumice and natural pigments, that is used over clear wax to produce a truly authentic aged look.

      Hi Amanda ~

In all honesty, I do not have much experience in using the Endurance product. I would have to refer you over to the CeCe Caldwell’s web page to direct your question. They would be able to give you an exact answer … I would hate to tell you something that is incorrect. Endurance is not a finish that I have carried. Good Luck! Catherine ~

      Hi Elayne ~

Yep … they both are. Here are some of the differences:
      – Both the Satin Finish and Endurance products are liquids designed to be more durable for surfaces that tend to be “used” more (i.e., table tops, chair seats, dresser tops).
      – Endurance is recommended for highly “used” surfaces (i.e., dining room table tops, cabinets)
      – Though, poly can be used for these as well, poly tends to be stinky, sticky and has higher VOC (volitale organic compounds).
      – Poly will yellow over time.
      – Satin Finish is made with 100% natural ingredients and you can add water to it (which I do all the time), so you actually get more bang for your buck.
      – Endurance is our only product with very low VOC. You cannot add water to it. The VOC is there only for high endurance purposes.

Let me know if you have any other questions, or please feel free to give me a call and I will explain more 🙂 267.324.3681.

      Thanks so much! Catherine ~

Hi I am interested in the waxes and the satin finish. What time of finish does the satin leave and is there a difference in the finish if you use the wax first? Also what is the size of the sample pot?

    Thank you,
    Kathy

      Hi Kathy ~

I use the clear was finish for a more matted look and I use the Satin Finish for areas that are used more, as it is a bit stronger – dining room tables, end tables, chair seats, etc. Both the wax and the satin finish apply with a nice finish and the shine depends on how and how much you buff.

I will also be getting in our new Endurance Cream this week. This cream applies a much tougher finish and so far everyone is loving it.

The samply pots are all 4 ounces. Currently, I am limited in Satin Finish and Clear Wax. I have lots of Aging Cream – both dark and light, as well as an Aging Dust (the dust is 2 ounces).

I will be placing an order tomorrow and my shipment should arrive by the end of the week.

Let me know if you have any other questions, or if you would like me to hold some product for you. I also ship, but if you are closer to me, you might want to pick up the product in the store and check out our other products.

Let me know what is best for you and thank you for inquiring. Let me know if you have other questions 🙂
